OACC (Overnewton Anglican Community College) is a dual campus, co-educational, Prep to Year 12 College with campuses in Keilor and Taylors Lakes in Melbourne’s North West. Producing consistently high academic results, Overnewton is a premier, independent school that prides itself on its inclusiveness and openness to all denominations.
The team at Vision One were contacted by OACC’s IT and Systems Management department to overhaul the audio visual classroom technology at the Taylors Lakes campus. We utilised the power of Epson’s state-of-the-art interactive projection technology to enhance 11 classrooms in total.
Overall, we supplied and installed 11x new Epson EB-1485Fi 5,000 ANSI Lumens Finger-Touch Interactive Laser Projectors. With its WUXGA resolution and laser display technology, the EB-1485Fi has been designed to be easy to use, enriching collaborative and agile working environments. We mounted the projectors above existing whiteboard and rerouted the previously-installed Epson powered speakers to accommodate for the signal-path of each new projector. Our uniquely-custom Vision One JED t440 Wall Controller was installed for system control and management, offering simplicity in operational command and usability. We installed HDMI/USB wall plates in place of antiquated VGA inputs to enable simple presentation through HDMI, and a USB input to synchronise interactivity with BYOD devices.
