Creating comfort at Tweed Valley.
Vision One Technologies travelled interstate to deliver a unique and compassionate audiovisual solution for Tweed Valley Hospital’s emergency department. Our team deployed a ceiling-mounted projection system designed to offer sensory therapy, distraction and comfort to patients of all ages during times of stress or anxiety. We created custom visual content—including soothing cartoon animals, gentle train journeys, bird’s-eye European landscapes and immersive underwater scenes—to support relaxation and emotional regulation within a high-pressure clinical environment.

Where technology supports wellbeing.
Vision One supplied and installed an Epson EB-810E WUXGA 5,000-lumen Extreme Short Throw Laser Projector, paired with a custom wall-mounted spider bracket positioned approximately 300mm below the ceiling. This configuration allows the projector to cast a large 3m x 2m visual canvas across the emergency room ceiling—ensuring clear, immersive visuals without interfering with clinical activities.
A magical sensory solution.
To support sensory therapy, we supplied and configured a MadMapper Software license, using it to design and deploy bespoke ceiling content such as animals, abstract patterns and additional calming scenes. The system integrates with a client-supplied mini PC via HDMI, which delivers the video feed to the projector. Remote desktop access and a stable WiFi/network connection were configured for ongoing setup, testing and support.
Following installation, our team fully tested, commissioned and handed over the system to hospital staff.
