Vision One Technologies has had the privilege of working closely with Camberwell Girls Grammar School on several projects over the years, including their broader refurbishment initiatives. Our latest collaboration focused on upgrading 16 classrooms with future-ready AV/T solutions to enhance teaching, learning and collaboration across the school.

Smart classrooms: future-ready learning from the ground up.
Across 13 classrooms (Q304, Q303, Q302, Q301, AF306, AF305, AF303, AF301, AF302, AF201, AF202, AF204, AF205), we supplied and installed Epson EB-1485Fi Ultra-Short Throw Interactive Laser Projectors, mounted neatly above the school’s existing whiteboards. These powerful projectors deliver bright, Full HD visuals at sizes up to 120 inches, creating an engaging platform for collaborative lessons. Each room was fitted with a four-speaker in-ceiling audio system paired with a discreet 100v mixer/amplifier, ensuring even sound coverage throughout.
To streamline classroom operation, a Crestron Wall-Mounted Touch Panel was introduced for ON/OFF, VOLUME, and SOURCE control, giving teachers simple and reliable command of the AV system. Each projector was also integrated with an existing Vivi Wireless Presentation Device, enabling both teachers and students to share, annotate, and collaborate seamlessly from their own devices. In AF302, we also decommissioned an existing InFocus 65” touchscreen, relocating it onto a North Bayou TW-85 motorised mobile AV trolley to extend its life as a flexible, portable teaching resource.
Big ideas for little learners.
In the Early Learning Centre (EL4 Part-Time, EL4 Full-Time and EL3), we deployed a tailored variation of the same solution. Epson EB-1485Fi Projectors were installed above school-supplied whiteboards, supported by in-ceiling speakers scaled to each room (one in EL4 PT, one in EL4 FT and two in EL3). Each classroom was powered by an Audac AMP22 100v Mixer/Amplifier, complemented by an Audac WP225 Wall Plate with Bluetooth for easy external device connectivity.
To support these younger learning environments, we also installed HDMI wall plates with direct cabling to the projectors, giving staff additional wired connectivity options. Control consistency was maintained with Crestron Wall Panels, and Vivi Wireless Devices were again patched into each projector to enable seamless wireless content sharing.

Through this large-scale rollout across 16 classrooms, Vision One helped Camberwell Girls Grammar School achieve a consistent, flexible and interactive AV/T environment that enhances both teaching and learning.
