Redesigning the modern classroom at Camberwell Grammar.
Camberwell Grammar School continues to invest in future-ready learning environments, partnering with Vision One Technologies to refresh and modernise AV technology across 24 classrooms. The project focused on replacing legacy projection systems with high-performance interactive displays, delivering clearer visuals, greater interactivity and a more intuitive teaching experience for staff and students alike.

Recycling the past, preparing for the future.
Working collaboratively with Camberwell Grammar School, Vision One delivered a coordinated rollout across 24 classrooms, beginning with the decommissioning of existing AV infrastructure. This included the removal of Epson ultra short throw projectors, wall-mounted and recessed speakers and 3-metre whiteboards, preparing each space for a clean and modern upgrade.
Rolling out premium interactive displays.
The new solution centred around Promethean’s AP10 Premium Interactive Flat Panel Displays, with 21 × 75” displays and 3 × 86” displays installed across the school. The larger 86” panels were strategically deployed in rooms W226, W227 and W116, while the remaining classrooms received 75” displays. Each screen was securely mounted using Promethean wall mounts, ensuring optimal viewing height and longevity.
These premium displays deliver exceptional image quality through optical bonding, QLED technology and full-array local dimming (FALD) — resulting in reduced reflections, wide viewing angles, true-black contrast, accurate colour reproduction and improved energy efficiency.
Where new tech meets classic infrastructure.
To retain traditional teaching flexibility, new whiteboards were installed alongside each display, tailored to room layouts. This included dual 1800mm x 1200mm whiteboards in most classrooms, with custom configurations in selected rooms to suit spatial constraints and teaching requirements.
User-friendly connectivity.
Existing Vivi Wireless Presentation Devices were re-patched and integrated directly into the new displays via HDMI, maintaining familiar workflows for staff. Vision One also repurposed existing power and data points, discreetly routing new cabling via bull nose brush plates positioned behind each screen for a clean, professional finish.
