The Scots School Albury
Established in 1972, The Scots School Albury was formed through the amalgamation of Albury Grammar School and Woodstock Presbyterian Girls’ School. Drawing on the heritage of its founding schools, Scots is recognised as one of the oldest educational institutions in New South Wales and the longest-standing regional boarding school in the state. Located on an expansive 11-hectare campus in the heart of Albury, the school combines historic character with contemporary learning environments, offering students tailored educational experiences supported by modern facilities.

The final AV touches at The Scots School.
Vision One Technologies was engaged to deliver a professional audio-visual solution for the newly constructed Multi-Purpose Hall at The Scots School Albury. Introduced to the project by PMDL Architects, Vision One worked closely with the design team to ensure the AV system aligned seamlessly with the building’s architectural vision while delivering high-performance functionality for the school community. This installation formed Stage 1A of a two-part project, focusing on the Multi-Purpose Hall and additional learning spaces within the development. Following the successful completion of Stage 1B in January 2026, the Vision One team returned to Albury in March to complete Stage 1A, travelling and staying on-site to maintain project continuity, quality control and a smooth delivery experience for the school.
- Create a high-impact visual display solution for the hall: Deliver a large-scale LED display capable of supporting assemblies, presentations, performances, and school events with exceptional clarity and brightness.
- Provide powerful, evenly distributed audio coverage: Design and deploy a professional audio system capable of filling the multi-purpose hall with clear, balanced sound suitable for both speech and media playback.
- Ensure flexible and reliable AV infrastructure: Implement a robust equipment and control backbone to support ongoing use, easy operation by staff, and future scalability as the school’s AV requirements evolve.

Aurora sets the stage for high-impact visuals.
Within the Multi-Purpose Hall, Vision One supplied and installed a 3500mm x 2000mm Aurora Indoor P1.9 LED Display, providing a vibrant and high-resolution visual centrepiece for the space. The display is powered by a LDP2625 LED Processor, ensuring stable signal management and optimal visual performance across a range of presentation formats.

Professional and reliable audio all the way through.
To support large gatherings and presentations, a professional audio reinforcement system was installed. This included 2x Audac KYRA Column Speakers paired with 2x Audac BASO12 12” Subwoofers, delivering clear vocal reproduction and impactful low-frequency performance. The system is powered by an Audac SMQ1250 4-Channel Power Amplifier with WaveDynamics DSP, providing advanced signal processing and tuning capabilities to optimise audio performance within the hall.
Signal routing and system control are managed through an Audac PRE116 6-Channel Stereo Pre-Amplifier, enabling flexible input management for various presentation sources. To ensure clean and reliable audio transmission, Speakon Connectors PRO-VCL4FC with UNiKA PRO MMD Line Level Isolator were installed, protecting the system from signal interference and ground loop noise.
All AV infrastructure is centrally housed within a Caymon 12RU Equipment Rack, providing an organised and secure equipment environment while allowing easy maintenance and future system expansion.
Creating consistent learning experiences.
Beyond the Multi-Purpose Hall, Stage 1A also included the deployment of additional AV solutions across eight General Learning Areas and a Learning Street Booth Seating area, mirroring the solutions delivered in Stage 1B. This ensured a consistent AV standard throughout the newly developed learning environments.
Following installation, Vision One conducted full system testing and commissioning, ensuring all components operated seamlessly and the system delivered optimal performance for day-to-day school use.

A grand reveal for a grand solution.
The high-resolution Aurora P1.9 LED display creates a powerful focal point for assemblies, presentations and performances within the hall.
A centralised rack-based system architecture provides easy management, maintenance and potential future upgrades.
The combination of Audac column speakers, subwoofers and DSP amplification ensures clear, balanced audio coverage across the entire space.
By replicating solutions across GLAs and collaborative areas, the school benefits from a cohesive and intuitive technology environment.
