Building on a foundation of excellence, St Carlo Borromeo partnered with Vision One Technologies to deliver a future-ready audio-visual solution across their outdoor assembly area and performing arts room. The goal? To uplift the sound experience for both students and staff — ensuring every performance, assembly and announcement is heard loud, clear and without technical hassle.

To enhance sound coverage across the outdoor assembly area, Vision One supplied and installed four Audac CHA660 6.5” 2-Way Horn Speakers with U-Brackets, mounted to the existing brick pillars at approximately 3m FFL with a 10-degree downward tilt. These weather-resistant speakers ensure even sound distribution across the entire assembly space, delivering crystal-clear speech and music for gatherings and events.
Powerful sound, perfectly placed.
Within the adjacent building, a dedicated AV control cupboard was equipped with an Audac PRE116 6-Channel Stereo Preamplifier with integrated Bluetooth and BAE100 Bluetooth Extender Kit, alongside an Audac SCP224 Compact Dual-Channel Power Amplifier. To elevate live performance flexibility, the system also includes a Shure SLXD24DS8L57 Wireless Dual Handheld Microphone System, featuring two legendary SM58® microphones for premium audio clarity and dependable RF stability — perfect for assemblies and performances alike.
Following installation, the Vision One team conducted full system testing and commissioning to guarantee seamless operation and optimal sound quality.
Stage-ready sound for every performance.
In the Performing Arts Room, Vision One delivered an audio upgrade designed to meet the diverse needs of teaching, rehearsals and performances. Above the stage opening, two Audac VEXO108 High Performance Passive 8” Two-Way Speakers were installed on MBK108V U-Brackets, providing brilliant, high-output sound in a compact, discreet form. An additional two VEXO108 speakers were mounted to the navy wall beside the television, ensuring consistent sound coverage across the teaching and audience zones.
Powering this system is an Audac SMQ350 5-Channel Power Amplifier with WaveDynamics DSP and an Audac PRE220 2-Zone 10-Channel Stereo Preamplifier with integrated Bluetooth connectivity. The PRE220 enables users to easily “activate” or “deactivate” each speaker zone (stage or teaching area) depending on the activity — from rehearsals to full-scale performances — with flexible routing of microphones and audio sources to each area.
Precision audio meets simple control.
To support interactive teaching and performances, the solution was completed with two Parallel Audio PERFORMER-HH Wireless Handheld Microphone Systems and two Parallel Audio PERFORMER-HM Headset Microphone Packages, ensuring hands-free, high-quality sound reinforcement for teachers and performers.
All systems were tested, commissioned and tuned to deliver professional-grade sound with intuitive control for staff and students.
