Siena College is a Roman Catholic secondary school for girls in Camberwell, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. It was founded by the Dominican Sisters in 1940. It is a member of Girls Sport Victoria and the Alliance of Girls’ Schools Australasia.
In late 2022, the team at Vision One were contacted by Siena College’s AV department. The school entered the market to seek counsel as they approached the next stage of their AV roadmap, and selected Vision One to manage their transition to new technologies. While various hardware types were explored (including interactive touch screens), Epson’s state-of-the-art full HD laser projectors were selected as the technology of choice to enhance 16 classroom spaces in total.
Flexibility is paramount with the EB-735F, with bright, large scalable display options up to 100″ (or up to 110” in 16:6 wide format). Unlike flat-panel equivalents, there are no shadows, glare or blind spots, and the high-brightness laser light source can work even when ambient lighting is also high.
In each classroom, we replaced a combination of powered wall speakers and redundant ceiling speakers with Audac’s industry-leading CIRA824 QuickFit™ 2-Way 8″ Ceiling Speakers with TwistFix™ Grills. Designed to offer the best value for money ratio, the CIRA series are coaxial 2-way ceiling speakers featuring exceptional intelligibility and musical performance. The TwistFix™ borderless grill design offers easy but solid assembly and a completely seamless transition from grill to ceiling. This results in a perfect blend in to its environment. Powered by the Audac AMP22 Mini Stereo Amplifier, this scope represented a significant performance upgrade over its predecessor.
Our uniquely-custom Vision One JED t440 Wall Controller was installed for system control and management, offering simplicity in operational command and usability.
