Testing the LED waters.
To meet Scotch College’s brief, Vision One supplied the ViewSonic LDS138-151 — a foldable 138” All-in-One LED display engineered for rapid deployment and superior visual performance. The College initially rented the unit for two major events to assess its suitability. Across these trials, the display was used for a range of presentations and event formats, enabling staff to evaluate image quality, scale, practicality and overall audience impact.
Finding a solution that fits (literally).
Given the heritage nature of the campus — where transporting large-format screens can be logistically challenging due to narrow corridors and limited access — the foldable design proved invaluable. The ability to collapse the screen allowed it to move through spaces that would otherwise restrict traditional LED walls, making it exceptionally well suited to the College’s environment.
Following extensive hands-on experimentation and multiple successful event deployments, Scotch College officially adopted the system — recognising it as a future-ready investment aligned with its commitment to excellence.

The LDS138-151 features a pre-assembled design with built-in motorised height adjustment, allowing quick setup without the need for wall mounting. Its foldable screen structure significantly reduces packaging size and allows the display to fit into standard elevators, streamlining transport between locations on campus.
An integrated system control box within the floor stand ensures clean cable management and a sleek, frameless presentation. With Glue-on-Board (GOB) surface treatment and IP54-rated LED modules, the display offers enhanced protection against dust, moisture and minor impacts. Dual 30W speakers provide powerful, integrated audio, delivering a complete large-venue solution suitable for assemblies, receptions, auditoriums and formal events.
