Empowering hybrid collaboration in NECA's modern meeting space.

Vision One Technologies was engaged by NECA to upgrade their Carlton North meeting room with a high-performing, easy-to-use video conferencing system that would enhance the experience for both in-person and remote attendees. The goal was to create a modern and engaging environment for hybrid meetings with seamless device compatibility and minimal user intervention.

Smart tech meets simplicity: a turnkey video conferencing upgrade.

To meet these objectives, we supplied and installed the Owl Labs Meeting Owl 4+, an all-in-one video conferencing device that sits at the centre of the table and provides a 360° camera, microphone and speaker system. The Owl automatically focuses on whoever is speaking, making remote participants feel more connected to the room.

We decommissioned NECA’s existing screen and replaced it with an LG 86UR640S 86” UHD Semi-Commercial Display, mounted using a heavy-duty wall bracket. This large-format display delivers four times the resolution of Full HD and features a thinner profile to save wall space.

Behind the display, we installed an Airtame 2 Wireless Screen Sharing Device, which enables wireless casting from personal devices to the display, removing the need for cables and ensuring a clean, clutter-free environment.

For general system control, an RTI 8-Button Keypad was installed with user options such as Airplay, Apple TV, Volume -/+ and more.
