Their roots may be Italian, but they blend tradition with a contemporary edge, led by family patriarch Renato and a new-gen team with big ideas. After a devastating fire in early 2024, Meat Flour Wine came back stronger than ever, reopening its Braeside location in June 2025 with resilience, heart, and vision – and a little help from Vision One.

With a newly renovated venue and a reputation for delivering memorable dining experiences, Meat Flour Wine sought to elevate their space with a custom-designed audio system that could seamlessly enhance every zone — from intimate dining rooms to lively function spaces. Vision One was brought in to deliver a high-performance, user-friendly audio solution that blended effortlessly with the restaurant’s modern yet warm aesthetic.

Immersive Audio for the Main Dining Space
Vision One designed a comprehensive multi-zone audio system featuring high-end Audac components and seamless central control.
In the main dining space, five pairs of Audac ATEO4 wall-mount loudspeakers were installed alongside two NOBA8 subwoofers, delivering warm, immersive background music without disrupting conversation. The private dining room, designed for intimate gatherings and group bookings, features two pairs of compact ATEO2 loudspeakers and a matching NOBA8 subwoofer for focused sound coverage.
Seamless Sound, Inside and Out
The function room was outfitted with three pairs of ATEO4 loudspeakers, one BASO10 subwoofer, and an NWP220+ input wall plate — allowing clients or staff to easily connect via Bluetooth, USB or 3.5mm AUX. With Dante-enabled compatibility, the system offers scalability and straightforward plug-and-play functionality for events or presentations.
In the courtyard and outdoor smoker’s area, six VIRO5 weather-resistant loudspeakers were installed, ensuring consistent coverage and high-fidelity performance — regardless of the weather. Indoors, the restrooms and entryway zones feature Audac CENA3 and ALTLI6 in-ceiling speakers, completing a fully immersive venue-wide experience.
Centralised AV Control and Infrastructure
At the heart of the system is a custom central control rack powered by Audac’s LUNA-F audio matrix, dual XMP44 SourceCon internet modules with Spotify connectivity, multiple Class D amplifiers, and a wireless Shure BLX microphone system. A wall-mounted 7” TouchOne touchscreen enables intuitive control across all zones — allowing staff to adjust volume, change playlists, or switch sources at the touch of a button. All hardware was securely mounted in a client-supplied rack enclosure for a neat and professional finish.

Vision One managed the full scope of the installation — from AV design and cabling consultation to system configuration, testing and handover — aligning with the broader renovation timeline and collaborating seamlessly with the venue’s trades.
