Familiar Epson tech steals the show.

To deliver high-impact visual performance across the large open library space, two Epson EB-PU2010 10,000 ANSI Lumen Laser Projectors were installed to the rear bulkhead using Ultralift SDR-120 brackets with right-angled attachments. Each projector was fitted with ELPLL08 long-throw lenses and installed at an approximate 20-metre throw distance, ensuring crisp, high-brightness image delivery across the presentation zone. Complementing the projection system, two Grandview 150” 16:10 Motorised Smart Projection Screens were installed on the opposing wall to provide a premium, large-format viewing surface.

Fully integrated and engineered for stellar performance.

To support distributed digital signage and presentation content, two 75” commercial display panels from Samsung were installed on adjacent left and right walls using dedicated wall mounting solutions, expanding visual reach across the space.

The audio solution was engineered using professional-grade components from Audac, including VEXO115 High-performance 15” Two-way Passive Speakers, powered by an SMQ350 4-channel Power Amplifier with integrated WaveDynamics DSP. System input and audio routing was managed via a PRE116 6-channel Stereo Preamplifier, ensuring consistent and intelligible audio coverage throughout the open learning environment.

A place for everything.

The AV infrastructure was centralised within a Caymon 12RU double-section wall-mounted equipment rack located within the presentation area. Within the rack, a Shure SLXD Dual Wireless Handheld Microphone System was installed to support presentations and events requiring mobility and professional audio capture.

Signal distribution and switching was handled via a 4K60 4×4 HDBaseT Matrix from WyreStorm, complete with receiver units installed at each display endpoint. Audio extraction from the matrix was routed via analogue outputs into the Audac preamplifier, ensuring seamless integration between video distribution and audio reinforcement systems.

Always user-friendly.

System control was delivered using an XP-6s Control Processor from RTI, supported by CM-232 communication modules enabling existing RS-232 INs control across projectors, displays and matrix switching hardware. User control is provided via an RTI 5” In-wall Touchpanel installed adjacent to the equipment rack, enabling simple, centralised operation.

For flexible content input, a local HDMI wall plate was installed near the presentation area and integrated into the HDBaseT matrix. A Vivi Wireless Presentation device was installed for screen mirroring capabilities, providing seamless BYOD content sharing for staff and students.

The system was fully tested, configured and commissioned to ensure reliable performance and ease of use across all operational scenarios.

Three cheers for reliable AV solutions.
