'Uncle Buck's' play area goes digital with LUMOplay.
As part of their newly-refurbished “children’s play area” – dubbed “Uncle Bucks” – Buckley’s teamed up with the creative AV design team at Vision One to deliver a LUMOplay Motion Software interactive wall projection system.

Bringing play to life: interactive motion gaming at Buckley's.
The LUMOplay system included an Ultralift Australia designed and developed right-angled ceiling mount to suit both the Epson EB-L610W WXGA Laser Installation Projector and the Orbbec Astra 3D Camera. The Orbbec Astra was strategically positioned in front of the projector to adequately capture the projection region. The Astra Series 3D Camera provides computer vision that enables dozens of functions such as face recognition, gesture recognition, human body tracking, three-dimensional measurement, environment perception and three-dimensional map reconstruction.
15x games were pre-selected from the unlimited access LUMOplay marketplace (including soccer, dancing, hungry hippos and more). The software was powered by an MSi 24″ PC with touch screen monitor. The video and USB signal is streamed via the use of a Clean Digital HDMI/USB transmitter and receiver kit.
Game content is programmed to transition every minute, providing children with a constantly-changing playlist of games to interact with.
