North Projects is a specialist consultancy for construction and infrastructure development projects throughout Australia. Having recently moved from level 9 to level 3 at 160 Queen Street, the organisation’s leadership team enlisted Vision One to deliver two video conferencing solutions in the new Boardroom and Meeting Room.
In the Boardroom, we supplied and installed 2x LG 75” UHD Trident LED Display Panels, seamlessly installing each display side-by-side. Above the display, we installed a CCS-CAM-USB0-F-400 Huddly IQ Collaboration Camera with Genius Framing Digital Auto Zoom. With Genius Framing, Huddly IQ detects the people in its field of view, smoothly zooms in on them and frames them. It adjusts automatically when people enter and leave the room and is ideal for video conferencing meetings with several participants. Transitions are perfectly fluid, delivering a natural video meeting experience.
Next, we installed a fully-integrated Crestron Flex video conferencing system for Microsoft Teams that included: 1x AM-300 Wireless Media Presentation System 300, 1x AirMedia AMC-300 Wireless Presentation Device and 1x UC-C160-T Crestron Flex C160-T UC Video Conference System Integrator Kit for MS Teams Rooms with 10” Crestron Touch Screen for System Control. The Crestron Flex UC-C160-T system provides a customizable video conference room solution for use with the Microsoft Teams intelligent communications platform.
For audio, we installed 6x Redback C1058 30W 100V Line Pendant Ceiling Speaker Black and cabled using black speaker, CAT and catenary wire to match the aesthetic of the refurbished ceiling.
A Biamp Devio SCR25-C Conference Microphone Hub System was installed for audio capture, including 2x beam-forming microphones located strategically above the Boardroom table. The Devio SCR-25 is a conferencing hub that provides users with exceptional AV experiences when using web-based conferencing systems. Intended for huddle rooms or small conference rooms, the SCR-25 uses Beamtracking™ microphones and professional grade DSP to optimize the audio quality, allowing far-end conference participants to experience the conversation naturally.
For the Small Meeting Room, we developed a similar concept, delivering a solution that included 1x LG 75″ UHD Trident LED Display Panel with a Crestron UC-B140-T Flex Wall Mount UC Video Conference System for Microsoft Teams Rooms. The Crestron Flex UC-B140-T system provides a video conference room solution for use with the Microsoft Teams intelligent communications platform. It supports a single video display, and features the Crestron UC Video Conference Smart Soundbar & Camera Camera (12 Megapixel Sony IMX477 Type 1/2.3, Ultra Wide Angle), embedded Microphone (Linear Quad-element far-field adaptive beamforming microphone array with 7m pickup and in-built DSP for gain control) and 10” Touch Screen (for System Control).
A DM Lite HDMI Transmitter/Receiver was installed beneath the Meeting Room table, enabling users to deliver “pass-through” content via HDMI when VC is not required.
