The Lyon Housemuseum is a hybrid residence and contemporary art museum located in Melbourne, Australia. The Housemuseum displays the Lyon Collection of Australian contemporary art in a purpose designed building. The team at the Lyon Housemuseum enlisted Vision One to deliver a 6×1 Portrait Video Wall Display Solution for the new Housemuseum Galleries launch on Saturday 16 March, 2019. The Galleries offer a new platform for works of international and local contemporary art, architecture and design, where new ways of presenting and experiencing art will be explored.
We supplied and installed 6x Philips BDL4988XC 3.5mm bezel 49” Display Panels in a 6×1 Portrait Video Wall configuration. The video wall was installed on a custom Atdec Video Wall bracket system.
Below the Video Wall, we supplied and installed an Audac IMEO1 Sound Bar. The IMEO1 Sound bar features a slim and elegant design and includes all required functions for expansion of any audio visual system with an impressive sound, while having a minimal hassle for installation.
Powering the content, 6x Lupa Media Players and a network switch were concealed behind the video wall. Each Lupa Media Player was loaded with a dedicated crop of the desired content, while the network switch in tandem with the video wall syncronised the content and created a seamless and accurate video reproduction.
