ESTA is Victoria’s triple zero service and provides the critical link between the Victorian community and the state’s emergency services agencies. ESTA also manages the provision of advanced, operational communications for Victoria’s emergency services. These operational communications support police, fire, ambulance and VICSES personnel in the field.
After the completion of one of our largest projects in 2020 – the new Williams Landing site – ESTA commissioned Vision One Technologies to upgrade their existing facilities at Burwood East & Ballarat.
This was due to the current COVID-19 climate which has seen an incredible growth in the need for remote conferencing. And as a result, this has pushed many organisations to review their existing meeting & presentation spaces which has led them toward the need for the integration of Unified Collaboration (UC) systems like video and audio conferencing. Vision One Technologies partnered once again with Crestron Australia to provide the necessary hardware that would transition the dedicated spaces to the new world of UC. In total, upgrades were completed in 7 rooms at Burwood East, and an additional room in Ballarat. A mixture of solutions were used across the rooms, including the Crestron UC-C160-T, UC-B30-T, and UC-MX70-T Microsoft Teams Rooms integration kits .
Although all Crestron kits provide similar solutions, they are designed specifically to the size of each room, with variables including the type of cameras & microphones that are used.
Each solution allows users to enter a room and simply press one button on the dedicated touch screen to begin an MS Teams meeting automatically.
