Camberwell Girls Grammar School is located in the leafy suburb of Canterbury in Melbourne, just 9km east from the CBD. The team at Vision One collaborated once again with the IT department at Camberwell Girls Grammar School to deliver not one, but two state-of-the-art science/AV technology solutions in the recently refurbished Chemistry and Biology Labs.
Our works began with the installation of 2x Epson EB-710Ui Inteactive Laser Projectors. Designed for today’s BYOD classroom, this projector displays 100″ images at native WUXGA Full HD resolution, offers 3x Higher Colour Brightness than competitive models and ensure bright, vivid images. It also features wireless functionality (module sold separately) and advanced connectivity, so teachers can share content from multiple devices, including Chromebooks – up to four at once with Moderator software.
Strategially placed above the science benches, two PTZ Optics PTZ Ceiling Mounted Camera were installed to the ceiling. These pan, tilt and zoom cameras offer 20x zoom functionality from the touch of a Crestron keypad. An audio system comprising of an Audac COM108 100v in-ceiling amplifier and 4x 8” Audac CENA812 flush-mount ceiling speakers completed the audio component of this setup.
A Crestron TSW-760 Wall-Mounted Touch Screen Media Presentation Controller was installed to allow users to operate the projector’s ON/OFF, volume and source switching commands. The Crestron Controller also provides ubiquitous control over the PTZ Camera, allowing pre-set configurations to be easily selectable at the push of a button.
