Vision One has had a long and successful relationship with the State Revenue Office for almost 15 years now, and recently they commissioned our team to install an audio visual solution as an upgrade to their existing Boardroom and Seminar/Meeting Rooms. The existing system was outdated, difficult to use, and not providing the level of performance required in such high usage and important environments.
The brief was to simplify the use of the existing systems for all users, upgrade to digital signalling, and upgrade the equipment including projectors, screens, and control systems.
Part of the difficulty with this project was the request to keep connections at the under table floor boxes of both the Boardroom and main Seminar Room. Fortunately, the team was able to utilise existing but unused Ethernet cables in the floor box to convert and send digital (HDMI) signals back to the AV cupboard over transmitter/receiver kits.
New PTN 4:1 HDMI auto switchers were used to take in signals from local PC’s, DVD players, the floor box HDMI connection, as well as an additional local HDMI input. Whilst RTI control systems were used for overall basic control, using 8-button wall mounted controllers.
