Melbourne Mar Thoma Church in Parkville is a Christian denomination, located at 149 Royal Parade.

Mar Thoma reached out to Vision One‘s creative design and installation team to commission a new projection system, piggybacking off a previously-install AV solution.

We de-commissioned the existing NEC projector and installed a new Epson EB-G7800W 8,000 ANSI Lumens Projector and zoom lens to the existing bracket.

To the centre-rear wall of the church, a motorised projection screen was installed in front of a glass panelling, providing us with the optimum viewing location for an additional projection in an architecturally challenging space.

An Epson EB-685W Ultra Short Throw Projector was installed on a custom post & bracket and aligned to the motorised projection screen. The post was affixed to the timber above the screen, extending outwards just like a traditional ultra short throw bracket.

A new JED keypad controller was installed to provide users control of the two projectors and projection screen at the front of the church.

A powered Wyrestorm 30m HDMI cable was installed, offering an additional digital input source. This allowed users to connect their laptop/PC via an HDMI cable and send digital signals simultaneously to both projectors.
