Frankston Council Chambers gets video wall makeover

  • Samsung 46” ultra narrow LED panels (UD46D), Atlona 2:4 HDMI Distribution amplifier, Full HD PC monitors, 50” display monitors

The team at Vision One recently completed upgrades to the Council Chambers at Frankston City Council. The old analogue projection system that was updated some years ago was itself de-commissioned and replaced by a new state of the art digital video wall display. The video wall consists of four Samsung 46” ultra narrow LED panels (UD46D) displayed in a 2×2 video formation.  The ultra thin bezels combine for a total bezel gap of 3.5 mm, and help to create a virtually seamless digital canvas, providing for a superb viewing experience. The new video wall now sits proudly behind the main council desk in place of the older projection screen.

An Atlona 2:4 HDMI Distribution amplifier was installed to upgrade the old analogue cabling system so that full high definition images could be sent to the new video wall. Simultaneous images are also able to be sent to the three new Full HD PC monitors on the councillor’s main desk, as well as two 50” display monitors toward the rear of the council chambers.
