Founded in 1933 with roots tracing back to the 1920s, the Australian Institute of International Affairs (AIIA) has a rich history as Australia’s longest-existing private research institute focused on politics and international relations.

The Challenge.

To ensure high-quality images and seamless connectivity, Vision One installed 2x adjacent Sony FWD Series 75” Flat Panel Displays. These displays, optimised for professional applications, deliver richly coloured, high-contrast 4K HDR images. The clean, minimal design of the displays keeps the audience focused and ClearAudio+ provides a pure, immersive sound experience.
Seamless Screen Sharing.
For effortless, dongle-free screen sharing, we deployed the WO-CYNPROA Cynap Pure Pro. This mountable model eliminates the need for racks full of equipment or an additional room control system. The wireless BYOD solution accommodates various devices and platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity with support for AirPlay, Chromecast and Miracast screen mirroring.
Enhanced Conferencing Capabilities.
A centrally mounted AVer AF-CAM550 Premium Conferencing Camera transforms the conferencing experience. Equipped with an AI lens for automated PTZ functionality, the camera delivers a comprehensive view of meeting attendees. The Smart Gallery feature, utilising AI face and body detection technology, ensures clear views of every participant on the remote side.
Efficient Audio Production.
For sensational audio production, we installed a robust PA System Infrastructure comprised of the familiar Audac COM12MK2 100v Amplifier and 6x Audac CIRA724 6.5” Ceiling Speakers. The COM series amplifier provides an ideal solution for small to medium-sized commercial sound systems, offering flexibility in output power and connectivity. The CIRA724 Ceiling Speakers, with their exceptional intelligibility and musical performance, feature a TwistFix™ borderless grill design for easy assembly and a seamless transition from grill to ceiling.
Elevated Sound.
To further enhance audio quality during video conferences, we also integrated the Xilica Solaro QR1 Digital Processor into the equipment rack. With a powerful dual-core processor, built-in 4×4 Dante/AES67 audio and license-activated HearClear™ AEC, the Xilica Solaro QR1 proves to be a perfect audio enhancement for meeting rooms using Unified Communications applications (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco WebEx or Google Hangouts).
Straightforward Communication.
For clear, crisp conversational performance during meetings and conferences, Vision One implemented a complete wireless microphone system, including 2x Sennheiser EW100 G4-ME2 Wireless Lavalier Microphones and 2x Sennheiser EW100 G4-935-S-AS Wireless Handheld Microphones.
A rugged all-in-one wireless system for presenters and moderators, the EW100 G4-ME2 Wireless Lavalier Microphones are engineered for professional live sound with high speech intelligibility for daily use on stage. Additionally, with its simple operating concept, the EW100 G4-935-S-AS Wireless Handheld Microphones feature state-of-the-art live sound and an easy and flexible wireless synchronisation between transmitter and receiver.
